Certification of your pet as an Emotional Support Animal is not guaranteed. This is solely determined by your mental health practitioner's clinical judgement.

Many websites offering ESA certification, claim to certify your pet after one payment and a brief quiz. The Florida Senate Bill 1084 states:

"An emotional support animal registration of any kind, including, but not limited to, an identification card, patch, certificate, or similar registration obtained from the Internet is not, by itself, sufficient information to reliably establish that a person has a disability or a disability-related need for an emotional support animal."

When registering with the EPCS ESA Registry, all documentation received are from one of our board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners or licensed clinical social workers, after a mental health evaluation. All supporting documents provided follow Federal Law guidelines.

EPCS recognizes ESAs as an added benefit to the quality behavioral health services, including medication management and counseling, we provide to patients across the state of Florida.
